How in the hell can you sit there and tell your fans that Rodgers gives them a better chancce to win than Favre does. Im not a fan of Favre, but without him and a ? at running back, the Packers will struggle, IMO.

    Re: Farve to the Jets

The J-E-T-S should have one of the if not the best offensive line in the league ...I see the Jets winning atleast 5 more games this year than they did last year and a playoff berth is definately a possibility. The JETS have had a great offseason, they have added alot of talent to that team. To whoever said the Pack have a ? at the RB position has totally lost it ...Ryan Grant was a stud last year and no reason to believe he wont do the same this season. And to whoever said GB wont be able to compete with Dallas with Rodgers under center must not have watched the game last year between the 2 teams, Rodgers looked solid in that game. I know he hasnt seen the field much at all so far in his time but when he does get out there he does just fine.

I second that notion. I know the Packers made an investment in Rodgers, I understand that. But I also agree with TheBeast, somebody/people in management and/or McCarthy realized that Favre had a new fire and didn't really want to go anywhere. So, maybe they helped push him onto the podium for that crying speech at the end of last season. Now, they're going to find out just how rough it can be in the NFL to break in a "new" QB. And maybe have Favre under center will give Thomas a few more chances to succeed.
Looking for my Darcy, but finding only Wickham. Right now, I'd settle for Bingley.

One "good" season doesnt mean he is a Pro Bowler. You may right, they may do good. I just dont see it.

GBs fans are gonna make this fun. The one guy left in pro ball that I could remember who played for and he jumps ship.

Brett has the one thing that seperates athelets from superstars...The drive to play, that is why he came back, he won't be able to quite until it is physically impossable...It's an obsession, all the great ones have it, and have had it since they were a kid, Jordan, Farve, Mays, you name it, they were all obsessed with the game they played

    Re: Farve to the Jets

rogers was successful because the cowboys had been planning to play against favre, not him.

with teams prepping for him a full week, he won't see nearly as much success.

    Re: Farve to the Jets

Rogers has 0 starts and is gimpy quite often....plus they have Braun and Flynn on the bench. So,, true, they have good prospects...but trading Favre is like taking a $200,000 winning lottery ticket and trading it for three more tickets just cuz the top prize is $1,000,000....IMO they would have a better shot with Favre at QB and trading or releasing one of the other 3..
...And if you ain't down with that, I got 2 words for ya....
